Conseiller en prévention SST

Responsibilities

• Ensure the application of health and safety (SST) rules and requirements on job sites and in agencies
• Conduct audits, inspections, and field tours to monitor compliance
• Analyze incidents and ensure the follow-up of corrective actions
• Raise awareness and train teams on safety best practices
• Participate in SST action plans and monitor performance indicators
• Intervene in high-risk situations, including exercising work stoppage authority

Requirements

• Educational background in SST, industrial hygiene, or industrial relations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SST prevention within an industrial environment
• Strong mastery of health and safety regulations and computer tools
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently across the Grand Montréal and Abitibi regions
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to mobilize teams
• Legally authorized to work and reside in Canada
