Conseiller·e en prévention SST

Responsibilities

• Ensure the application of health and safety (SST) rules and requirements on job sites and in agencies
• Conduct audits, inspections, and field tours to monitor compliance
• Analyze incidents and ensure the follow-up of corrective actions
• Raise awareness and train teams on safety best practices
• Participate in SST action plans and monitor performance indicators
• Intervene in high-risk situations, including exercising work stoppage authority

Requirements

• Training in SST, industrial hygiene, or industrial relations
• At least 2 years of SST prevention experience in industrial environments
• Mastery of health and safety regulations and proficiency in IT tools
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mobilize teams
• Autonomy, organization, and an orientation toward continuous improvement
• Valid driver's license and availability for frequent travel within the Mauricie-Saguenay region
• Legal authorization to work and reside in Canada
