Connected Car Onboard Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform software requirement analysis based on high-level system requirements and use cases for connected car services.
• Evaluate proposed software architectures and formulate improvement plans.
• Research and propose the utilization of latest software technologies, including Android Automotive and Open Source Software (OSS).
• Assess software behavior from a user perspective and develop improvement strategies.
• Verify the effectiveness of software implementations and propose technical refinements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development.
• TOEIC score of 600 or higher.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse global stakeholders and suppliers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to new challenges.
• Ability to work positively and persistently in difficult situations.
• Strong teamwork skills and a passion for manufacturing and technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience in embedded automotive software development.
• Experience working with overseas vendors.
• Knowledge of Linux or Android frameworks, or extensive experience in product development.
• Ability to read, understand, and modify Linux OS source code or drivers.
• Experience in Android application development and evaluation.
• TOEIC score of 730 or higher.
