Conformity Engineer (Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Ensure products comply with international and local standards including ISO, IEC, SASO, SFDA, ECAS, EQM, and CE
• Manage product certification processes such as CoC, SABER, and ECAS/EQM
• Review and interpret regulatory and technical requirements for GCC and Egyptian markets
• Coordinate testing, inspections, and certification activities with laboratories and certification bodies
• Review technical documentation, test reports, labeling, manuals, and product specifications
• Prepare and maintain conformity reports, certificates, and compliance records
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain required technical documents and corrective actions
• Monitor updates in standards, regulations, and market access requirements
• Support audits and ensure timely renewal of certifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, or a related technical field
• 2–5 years of experience in product compliance, certification, or conformity assessment
• Knowledge of GCC conformity schemes and market access requirements
• Hands-on experience with the SABER platform
• Understanding of ISO, IEC, SASO, SFDA, and CE standards
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electrical or electronic product certification
• Previous experience working with certification bodies like Intertek, TÜV, SGS, or GulfTIC
• Familiarity with testing laboratories and inspection procedures
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English
