Conflicts Associate

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain related-party and ownership structures for Audit and PE/VC clients and sponsors
• Perform in-depth secondary research using reliable online sources and third-party tools such as S&P CapIQ
• Assess relationships for potential independence and conflict-of-interest risks and document evidence clearly
• Maintain data quality through completeness checks, trackers, and ongoing updates
• Partner with QRM and stakeholders to communicate status, findings, and escalate issues
• Identify and support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, or a related field
• Experience in secondary research, entity/affiliate mapping, conflict checks, compliance, or risk analysis
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience mapping complex corporate structures including ultimate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates
• Understanding of PE/VC fund and sponsor structures
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear written/verbal communication
• Ability to manage priorities independently and handle confidential information with integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of audit independence and conflicts of interest
