Conflicts Analyst

Responsibilities

• Produce and review conflict of interest reports using the Firm’s specialized conflicts software
• Identify potential conflict issues and conduct research regarding matter status, entity roles, and corporate affiliate relationships
• Independently analyze conflict reports and summarize findings for attorneys and secretaries via electronic workflow systems
• Create ethical walls as requested and appropriate
• Assist with maintaining waiver and engagement letter records, including monitoring databases and creating engagement letter flags
• Retrieve and distribute waiver letters to attorneys upon request

Requirements

• One year of conflicts, legal assistant, or comparable law firm experience in a decision-making capacity
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgment
• Ability to handle sensitive information with high levels of discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with law firm conflicts systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
