Configuration Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the Configuration Management process and execute activities across hardware, software, and technical data
• Administer, maintain, and improve Arena Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflows
• Serve as the primary Arena PLM administrator and subject matter expert
• Oversee Engineering Change Order (ECO) workflows and lead Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities
• Establish, maintain, and audit product baselines and Configuration Status Accounting (CSA)
• Develop and maintain Configuration Management procedures and work instructions
• Train and support users on CM processes and Arena workflows
• Monitor process health and identify gaps, bottlenecks, or opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• 8+ years of Configuration Management experience in aerospace, defense, space, or complex hardware environments
• Experience administering or serving as a power user of a PLM system
• Experience overseeing Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes and participating in CCBs
• Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), revision control, and product traceability
• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management teams
• Ability to work independently and drive actions to closure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct Arena PLM administration and workflow configuration experience
• Aerospace or spaceflight hardware experience
• Experience implementing CM processes from the ground up
• Experience supporting Design, Manufacturing, or Test Readiness Reviews
• Experience integrating PLM systems with ERP systems
• AS9100 experience
• Certified Configuration Management Professional (CCMP)
