Configuration Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Define and apply configuration management strategies for complex aerospace programs
• Ensure traceability of modifications throughout the product lifecycle in compliance with CM2, EIA-649, or ISO 10007 standards
• Supervise baselines and technical deliverables including nomenclatures, plans, and specifications
• Identify and resolve configuration discrepancies and associated risks
• Propose process improvements through automation and digitalization
• Train and support teams on best practices and PLM tools
• Ensure compliance with client requirements (Airbus, Safran, Dassault) and regulatory standards (EASA, FAA, Part 21)
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Represent configuration management to clients and partners
• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales phases and collaborate with commercial and project management directions
• Animate the professional community through knowledge sharing and technical support

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry
• Proven experience in technical leadership/management
• Advanced mastery of standards, baseline management, and modification traceability
• Proficiency in PLM tools such as Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, or SAP PLM
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel
• Deep knowledge of EASA/FAA requirements and certification processes (Part 21)
• Fluent English
