Configuration Management Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product configurations, including BOMs and routings, within the ERP system.
• Lead the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from initiation through release.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to validate and integrate changes.
• Ensure all configuration documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support production by troubleshooting configuration issues related to product builds or components.
• Maintain version control and revision history for all configurable items.
• Develop and improve configuration management processes, workflows, and approval tools.
• Manage effectivity dates and revision control to prevent impact on active production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in configuration management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Infor M3 preferred) and PLM systems.
• Strong understanding of BOM structures, product lifecycle management, and revision control.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of configuration management principles such as CMII or ISO 10007.
