About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide configuration management and data management (CMDM) support to Integrated Product Teams, including Program Management, Engineering, and Cybersecurity.
- Implement hardware and software configuration activities to meet program contractual requirements.
- Support baseline control for all delivered software, hardware configuration items, and documentation.
- Analyze product design changes in drawings, specifications, and technical orders to determine effects on the product baseline.
- Perform physical audits on configuration items, document findings, and deploy corrective actions.
- Maintain revision and version control over multiple simultaneous baselines.
- Write and review software and hardware change requests to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor analysts in areas of configuration control boards, hardware/software verification, and sustainment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a sustaining or development engineering environment.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and resolve problems under direct supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of materials, components, assemblies, and computer hardware.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Windchill or equivalent.
- Experience with engineering documentation, product structure, and change order management.
