About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality awareness on the reconfiguration line to meet quality goals and on-time delivery targets
  • Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis using digital electronic devices to validate nonconforming products
  • Complete mechanical repairs through the disassembly and reassembly of defective components across multiple product families
  • Conduct visual inspections for physical damage or missing parts
  • Utilize various software platforms to perform testing and diagnostic checks on printers and other products
  • Document detailed findings of defective products and assemblies into the operations ERP system
  • Develop and review Operation Method Sheets (OMS) and other process documentation
  • Assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of lower-level employees
  • Support line leaders in maintaining line balancing and operational improvement activities

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in an electromechanical assembly environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend Bills of Materials (BOM) and mechanical drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing or Kaizen
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 40 lbs
  • General computer skills including Windows navigation
