About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Requirements and Configuration Management Plans aligned with project objectives.
  • Lead Systems Engineering activities in accordance with ISO/IEC 15288 and relevant industry standards.
  • Establish and manage requirements processes including elicitation, derivation, allocation, and traceability.
  • Maintain the requirements management system using tools such as DOORS/DNG or ComplyPro.
  • Develop and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) across all project stages.
  • Lead configuration management processes including baseline definition, version control, and change management.
  • Manage configuration change control processes, including the evaluation and approval of change requests.
  • Conduct configuration audits and requirements compliance reviews.
  • Support Systems Assurance processes in line with EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure requirements are implemented and verified.
  • Manage interface requirements between rail systems, infrastructure, and operational environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in rail projects and/or rail operations.
  • Proven experience in requirements and configuration management on large-scale rail or infrastructure programs.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS/DNG or ComplyPro.
  • Strong knowledge of Systems Assurance standards (EN 50126/8/9).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex multidisciplinary interfaces and system integration.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification or membership in a relevant professional institute.
  • Experience in airport integration, intermodal transport hubs, or complex operational environments.
  • Experience in client-facing or consultancy roles on major infrastructure projects.
  • GCC or international experience in the rail sector.
