Conference Organiser

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually
• Source, compare, and manage suppliers for venues, branding, and event needs
• Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
• Plan sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer organisation
• Maintain inventory tracking and quality-check promotional materials
• Track and condense internal team queries and updates

Requirements

• UK work permit required
• No specific previous experience required; training provided
• Relentless drive and desire to excel
• Strong work ethic with high sense of urgency
• Ownership mindset with proactive follow-through
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-organised with ability to structure and prioritise work
• Curiosity about people and strong relationship-building skills
