Conference Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Source, compare, and negotiate with suppliers for venues, branding, and event add-ons while managing budgets
• Plan and coordinate sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution
• Maintain inventory tracking and quality-check design materials such as banners and signage
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer organisation on-site

Requirements

• UK work permit required
• No specific previous experience required; training is provided
• Relentless drive and desire to excel at your work
• Strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, and ownership mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-organised with ability to structure and prioritise work
