Responsibilities
Coordinator of Relationships
- Oversee Sponsorship and Speaker portfolios
- Reach out to companies and professional organizations
- Prepare grant and bursary applications
- Recruit a diverse group of speakers
Marketing Coordinator
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract delegates
- Create digital and print marketing materials, including graphics and visuals
- Evaluate and refine marketing strategies to increase visibility
Logistics Coordinator
- Book the conference venue and maintain communication with representatives
- Assist in planning events and managing conference logistics
- Create the final conference schedule and plan meals
IT Coordinator
- Focus on website development and online ticket sales
- Collaborate on the overall conference theme
- Ensure financial transactions are appropriately tracked and secured
Requirements
- Organized, motivated, and hard-working team player
- Ability to take initiative and problem solve
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- For IT role: Website-building skills are a strong asset
