About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform daily verification and preparation of machinery, including checking fluid levels and completing daily checklists
- Operate heavy machinery such as dumpers, loaders, hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, and graders
- Adhere strictly to site safety rules, traffic plans, and Holcim standards/Code of Conduct
- Identify potential mechanical anomalies and perform minor repairs
- Ensure compliance with all environmental standards
- Work within a 2x8 shift schedule as part of a 10-person team
Requirements
- Mandatory CACES certifications: B1, C1, and E
- Passion for heavy machinery operation and interest in quarry environments
- Strong team spirit and ability to work collaboratively
- High level of autonomy and versatility in tasks
- Commitment to safety and environmental regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of CACES C2 or C3 certifications
