Condition Monitoring Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide wind turbine condition health monitoring services to customers in the EU region
• Monitor asset performance using fleetMONITOR software and report on alarms and asset health
• Support the new customer onboarding process and service mobilisation
• Identify opportunities for added-value services such as consulting and training
• Ensure high-quality standards for health monitoring services
• Collaborate with global colleagues to develop service improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant STEM subject (Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics)
• Understanding of rotating machinery dynamics and vibration analysis
• Programming experience in Python or Matlab
• Knowledge of networking and connectivity including VPN technologies and databases
• Proficiency in data processing, signal processing, and feature extraction

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data mining, machine learning, or regression analysis
• IMechE qualification or working towards it
• Mobius Institute accreditation
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills
• PhD or Masters degree
