Concrete Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site representative and primary point of contact for all construction activities.
• Manage communication between clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and Kiewit personnel.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and field personnel direction.
• Provide leadership to ensure work execution meets quality, cost, and subcontractor performance standards.
• Monitor safety orientations, indoctrinations, and provide ongoing coaching for improvement.
• Evaluate execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedules, and cost budgets.
• Review and monitor cost and man-hour budgets for installation processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing multiple grading crews.
• Working knowledge of Trimble/machine grade control, demolition, excavation, lime, and flex base operations.
• Knowledge of local materials.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Ability to work at various locations and under varying conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency.
• Direct knowledge of roads, highways, and bridges.
• Experience with Maintenance of Traffic, Erosion Control, and Safety Training.
