Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit technical materials including guides, manuals, reports, and publications
  • Manage research projects end-to-end, including budgets, timelines, and reporting
  • Plan and deliver workshops, seminars, webinars, and training programs
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting expertise to industry stakeholders
  • Identify research opportunities, secure funding, and develop project proposals
  • Represent the organization at professional conferences and committees
  • Support and mentor students in lab and field research activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Proven project management capabilities
  • Ability to travel nationwide for professional engagements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
  • Demonstrated experience in concrete pavements for airfields, roadways, or concrete materials
  • Experience writing scholarly papers, newsletters, or technical reports
