Concrete Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the concrete crew on-site
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce safety protocols
• Manage daily work schedules to ensure timely project completion
• Monitor material usage and manage inventory for concrete operations
• Provide guidance on concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
• Conduct regular inspections to assess work quality and conformance to specifications
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to resolve issues
• Train new crew members on work procedures and expectations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role
• TWIC card required
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials, methods, and machinery
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to withstand physically demanding work environments
