Concessions Student Helper/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Accurately process food and beverage sales using cash registers, scanners, or wireless equipment
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout campus locations
• Train other student cashiers on POS machines and enforce policies
• Assist in food production, including food prep and grab and go production
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness for front-of-house areas, including condiment stations, tables, and floors
• Clean work areas, counters, dishes, and related equipment
• Observe proper food storage and handling procedures to ensure safety
• Ensure food and beverages are properly and safely served

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to stand for up to 4 hours continuously
• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs numerous times and up to 50 lbs several times daily
• Ability to push and pull up to 70 lbs frequently
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Cooperative attitude and effective time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of point of sale systems
• Experience with cash handling
• ServSafe certification (required for some locations)
