Concept Designer

Responsibilities

• Undertake design projects from the initial concept phase through to the design-handover phase.
• Conduct research and development regarding project context, location, trends, materiality, and design styles.
• Assist with space planning, test fit proposals, zoning, and bubble diagrams to optimize user experience.
• Develop design concepts and visual storytelling to articulate narratives for buildings or spaces.
• Create high-quality presentation documents and work with 3D artists to produce realistic renders.
• Prepare full drawing packs for construction, including technical drawings and joinery details.
• Coordinate with MEP specialists and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Manage administrative tasks such as taking meeting minutes and representing the Concept Team in meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Interior Design industry, preferably within hospitality or commercial design.
• Relevant Interior Design qualification.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and mechanical drawings.
• Proven skills in space planning, tender drawings, construction drawings, and joinery.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
