About the role
Responsibilities
- Support concept architecture development for specific programs
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams on exterior and interior concepts
- Create 3D CAD packaging proposals to solve engineering and functional challenges
- Establish vehicle occupant packaging, positioning, and roominess targets
- Benchmark competitive executions using tools like A2MAC1
- Evolve CAD data sets throughout the development lifecycle
- Create detailed requirement documentation, including 2D/3D drawings and specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or related field
- 4+ years of automotive concept engineering experience
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, TeamCenter, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and JIRA
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (GCIE, SAE, C/FMVSS)
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
