Concept Architect

Responsibilities

• Support concept architecture development for specific programs
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams on exterior and interior concepts
• Create 3D CAD packaging proposals to solve engineering and functional challenges
• Establish vehicle occupant packaging, positioning, and roominess targets
• Benchmark competitive executions using tools like A2MAC1
• Evolve CAD data sets throughout the development lifecycle
• Create detailed requirement documentation, including 2D/3D drawings and specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or related field
• 4+ years of automotive concept engineering experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5, TeamCenter, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and JIRA
• Familiarity with automotive safety standards (GCIE, SAE, C/FMVSS)
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
