About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform full lifecycle management of multi-user information systems, including servers, storage, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
- Maintain system integrity to meet requirements for service levels, disaster recovery, business continuity, and security.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and domain experts in networking, software, and desktop personnel.
- Execute hardware systems analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, and recovery.
- Manage software installations, OS upgrades, security patches, vulnerability management, and resource optimization.
- Conduct technical research and development to drive continuous innovation within the infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity or CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems administration at scale (e.g., Windows Server/AD/GPO, RHEL).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
- Active DOE Q-level security clearance (or DoD TS equivalent) and the ability to obtain/maintain SCI access.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise identity services such as Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and PKI.
- Knowledge of STIG/hardening compliance, including DISA STIGs and SCAP.
- Experience with hypervisors such as ESXi and vulnerability management tools like Tenable Security Center.
- Familiarity with NIAP protection profiles and VOIP systems on SCI networks.
- Experience writing technical policy and procedure documents.
