About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and primary escalation point for secure computing infrastructure supporting Top Secret networks.
- Set technical standards for compliant operations by developing actionable policy and procedure documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and domain experts in cyber, networking, and software to deliver secure solutions.
- Apply engineering and life cycle management techniques to design, deploy, and sustain integrated information systems hardware.
- Perform hardware systems analysis, troubleshooting, repair, disaster recovery, and vulnerability management.
- Conduct technical research and development to drive innovation and repeatable practices within the infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computing hardware peripherals and their authorized use on Top Secret computer systems.
- Demonstrated IT leadership experience, including managing teams and collaborating across organizations.
- Proficiency in ITSM ticketing tools, metrics analysis, and report generation.
- Active DOE Q-level (or DoD Top Secret equivalent) security clearance and active SCI-level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Windows and Linux administration at scale (e.g., Windows Server/AD/GPO, RHEL).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
- Experience with enterprise identity services such as Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and PKI.
- Knowledge of STIG/hardening compliance, including DISA STIGs and SCAP.
- Active CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)² CISSP certification.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools such as Tenable Security Center.
