Computing & Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise architecture for computing platforms across on-prem, private cloud, public cloud, and HPC/AI infrastructure
• Define target reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps
• Develop and implement cloud strategies to ensure high availability, performance, and security
• Provide leadership and guidance in cloud technology best practices
• Integrate existing systems with cloud-based solutions to ensure interoperability
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define cloud architecture for new applications
• Evaluate new cloud services and technology trends
• Monitor and analyze cloud performance metrics to optimize costs and performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in IT
• 5+ years focused on cloud computing architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in cloud migration projects and managing hybrid cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Professional certification
