Computer Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Configure new equipment with appropriate software images and settings
• Build and maintain a repository of standard software images for deployment
• Perform full disk encryption on computers
• Schedule and deliver technology equipment and retrieve retired equipment for disposal
• Migrate customer data from old equipment to new replacement devices
• Maintain accurate records for equipment transactions and inventory
• Provide strong customer service to faculty, staff, and students
• Coordinate activities with other members of the Enterprise Technology Support staff
• Work with vendor representatives to resolve technical issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a computer-related field
• Experience installing and using computer imaging software
• Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk across campus carrying up to 20 pounds of equipment
• Strong commitment to Christian principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training in a computer-related field
