Computer Operator II

Responsibilities

• Document flight events via computer keyboard and headset
• Process data requests and deliver mission data products
• Burn data on CDs/DVDs and manage data transfer records
• Request and upload data markings, classifications, and threat calibration approvals
• Maintain inventory and accountability of computer equipment and peripherals
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operational hardware and software
• Organize and monitor data processing workflows and technical reporting

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in computer operations or data management
• Experience managing and distributing digital data products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer operating environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain detailed records and work under deadlines
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Navy, DoD, aviation, or flight test organizations
• Experience processing aircraft test data or mission systems data
• Familiarity with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) procedures
• Associate degree or technical training in IT or Data Management
