Computer Operator I

Responsibilities

• Comply with computer operation policy, standards, and procedures
• Interpret program requirements and audit auxiliary peripheral units
• Coordinate inputs and data to meet contractual requirements
• Compile programs for programmers and write minor operational programs
• Investigate and locate sources of non-standard irregularities
• Analyze and recover program operations in complex error situations
• Provide technical support to computer users and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
• Maintain a filing system of databases for tracking and inventory
• Develop, process, and submit data reports for technical presentations

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Windows and integrated software application programs
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel
• Vocational/technical or military equivalent training beyond high school
• Minimum of five years of job-related experience
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance (US Citizenship required)
