Computer Network Defense Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze systems and network activity to identify vulnerabilities and assess unauthorized activity across enterprise environments
• Investigate security events and de-obfuscate data
• Analyze system alerts and provide actionable recommendations to improve security posture and operational effectiveness
• Develop mitigation strategies to strengthen network defenses and protect enterprise systems and infrastructure

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant experience based on education: A.S. + 10 years, B.S. + 8 years, M.S. + 6 years, or Ph.D. + 4 years
• Experience in computer/information systems design, software development, cyber security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, or forensics
• Experience with network and/or system administration
• Experience collecting information from IDS, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs
• Experience with wired networks, wireless communications, and collaboration platforms
