Computer Network Defense Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze systems and network activity to identify vulnerabilities
• Assess unauthorized activity across enterprise environments
• Investigate security events and de-obfuscate data
• Analyze system alerts and provide actionable recommendations to improve security posture
• Develop mitigation strategies to strengthen network defenses and protect infrastructure

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant experience based on education: A.S. + 7 years, B.S. + 5 years, M.S. + 3 years, or Ph.D. + 2 years
• Experience in information security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, or computer forensics
• Experience with network and/or system administration
• Experience collecting information from IDS, firewalls, and network/host logs
• Experience with wired networks, wireless communications, and collaboration platforms
