Computer Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain systems supporting the SPY-6 radar family to ensure optimal performance
• Perform system troubleshooting and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Conduct regular system monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning
• Maintain and configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
• Implement and maintain system security measures in accordance with DoD standards
• Support network configurations including IP address management, VLANs, and Layer 3 Switches
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and troubleshooting guides

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• AT Level I Certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Security+)
• Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required on day 1
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and DNS
• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or military environment
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting
