About the role
Responsibilities
- Architect novel and optimized sensor signal chains to reduce data rate and latency
- Develop simulations and build prototypes of sensor signal chains to validate advanced concepts
- Design readout integrated circuits for image sensors, ADC architectures, and near-pixel processing circuitry
- Contribute to IP generation and planning for advanced sensor platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital designers, algorithm researchers, and software developers
- Document ongoing work and generate technical reports on project concepts and outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in mixed-signal design, intelligent sensors, and machine learning applications
Requirements
- PhD or experienced M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed-signal circuits
- Experience in sensor signal chain design, mixed-signal design, and noise analysis
- Proficiency with FPGAs and CMOS image sensor (CIS) technology development
- Deep background in signal and image processing
- Experience applying modern machine learning-based approaches to signal processing in resource-constrained settings
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
