Computational Neuroscientist

Alljoined is creating a future where humans are fully understood and augmented by technology. Our work solves the communication bottleneck between humans and computers by decoding thoughts from the brain, entirely non-invasively. We apply deep learning research to large scale EEG datasets to decode multimedia input, eventually moving to internal thought.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on stimulus paradigms at scale in collaboration with the research team
• Perform comprehensive analyses on collected data to uncover insights into various paradigms and architectures
• Collaborate with research coordinators and engineers to design experiments that optimize next-generation neural decoding approaches

Requirements

• PhD or postdoc in neuroscience or a related field
• Extensive experience designing and executing neuroscience studies
• Experience analyzing functional brain imaging data such as EEG or fMRI
• Proficiency in Python including MNE, Numpy, and PsychoPy
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, Sci-Py, or Scikit-Learn
• Advanced computational, statistical, and modeling skills for neuroimaging data
• Strong grasp of psychophysics and human behavior
• Ability to conduct independent research in an interdisciplinary setting
