Compressor Rebuild Mechanic III

Responsibilities

• Perform unsupervised rebuilding, repair, and inspection of compressors, including teardown, assembly, and parts cleaning
• Identify and resolve basic to intermediate technical issues with minimal supervisory support
• Execute compressor testing procedures without supervision
• Provide technical support and expertise to customers and service personnel
• Coach team members and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Perform miscellaneous machining tasks as required to complete repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical school diploma (or equivalent)
• 5-10 years of experience working with refrigeration compressors
• Deep knowledge of screw and/or piston/reciprocal compressor types

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical repair or machining
