About the role

Responsibilities

  • Compound non-sterile medications according to established protocols
  • Maintain accurate compounding records and assist in reporting efficiency numbers
  • Maintain and clean the compounding lab, pharmacy equipment, and work counters
  • Receive and verify delivered orders, restock medication shelves, and rotate inventory
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacists regarding lab issues or quality assurance
  • Manage stock records and ensure outdated drugs are removed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of compounding experience
  • Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio
  • National Certification (CPhT)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks including standing for long periods
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection (N95, PAPR, etc.) and other required PPE
  • Availability to work overnight shifts (Saturday–Tuesday, 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM)
