Compounding Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all Compounding Department employees including Supervisors, Compounders, Lead Compounders, and Sanitizers
• Interview, train, supervise, and evaluate personnel
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, GMP, and SOPs
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety through regular audits
• Investigate work-related injuries and report to HR/Program Director
• Oversee accurate documentation of batch records, formulas, and logbooks
• Maintain and update Department SOPs and Work Instructions
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to investigate batch errors and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with Production and Scheduling to meet production goals and quotas
• Implement lean manufacturing methods and cost-saving measures

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience in CPG manufacturing
• Demonstrated knowledge of production management
• Ability to use In-Processing Compounding Forms, Viscosity meters, and pH meters
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and manipulate 500-pound drums periodically
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, loud noises, and chemicals
• Ability to discern differences in colors and shades
