About the role
Responsibilities
- Operation and oversight of all PVC compounding facility equipment
- Ensure quality and availability of PVC compounds for extrusion
- Execute and oversee daily schedules
- Perform material trials and quality tests
- Package compounds for outside sales
- Perform Oracle transactions
- Assist with equipment maintenance and unloading railcars
- Participate in 5S and housekeeping programs
- Follow all plant EHS training and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in all types of weather
- Ability to stand on concrete flooring and climb steps for up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb
- Must be at least 18 years of age
