Compounder

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix batches of raw materials for production processing following specified formulas and procedures
• Accurately measure and weigh raw materials to ensure batches meet quality standards
• Operate equipment and machinery used in the compounding process
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing a SBA when required
• Handle hazardous materials safely following established guidelines and SDS
• Maintain detailed inventory logs of raw materials and chemicals
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure product consistency
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain batch consistency
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Department Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of chemistry and mathematics
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures with precision
• Willingness and ability to work while wearing a SBA as required
• Physical ability to lift 60 to 80lb bags of raw materials
• Ability to train on morning shift
• Ability to work overnight shift (4:00 PM - 3:00 AM)
