Composite Technician C

Responsibilities

• Produce parts, components, and final assemblies using composite fabrication, compression molding, and metal fabrication techniques.
• Prepare components for lay-up, filament winding, and curing using various rubber materials and adhesives.
• Operate specialized machinery including ovens, autoclaves, CNC lathes, milling centers, presses, and composite winders.
• Perform vacuum bagging, structural bonding, and complex layup processes.
• Build, clean, and maintain large tooling and soluble mandrels.
• Support research and development by producing development hardware and troubleshooting production processes.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance for equipment calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to safety initiatives and 5S+1 standards within the facility.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• OR an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
