Composite Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Perform composite layup and cut materials according to work instructions
• Maintain, label, and prepare materials for production log tickets
• Assemble a variety of simple and complex aerospace parts
• Deflash, sand, and trim smaller composite parts as needed
• Prep, load, and unload molds from ovens, presses, and autoclaves
• Maintain tools, molds, fixtures, and equipment in the assembly area
• Follow all company workmanship, quality, and safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and written work instructions
• Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or protected individual) as required by ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, composites, or mechanical assembly
• Basic knowledge of composite materials including fiberglass, carbon fiber, and resins
• Experience with bonding processes
