Composite & Bonding Specialist Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of employees in the fabrication and assembly of complex aerostructures to meet production requirements and customer acceptance
• Oversee the manufacture of completed units, including component assembly, structural joining (metallic and nonmetallic), and system installations
• Manage the installation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using various fastening methods such as screws, rivets, and adhesives
• Interface with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to ensure product requirements are met
• Lead the team in developing creative solutions to complex manufacturing problems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Experience working with multiple cross-functional groups such as Quality, Assembly, Procurement, and Supply Chain
• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience working in a union environment with collective bargaining agreements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
• Experience with project management, strategic planning, and new product introduction (NPI)
• Experience managing statements of work, budgets, and cost monitoring
