Component Maintenance Engineer (CME) (Experienced or Senior)

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex engineering designs and changes to determine component maintenance and repair requirements, procedures, and instructions
• Integrate data from production drawings, specifications, and tooling designs to ensure accurate Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) procedures
• Coordinate with FAA Engineering Unit Members and IPT groups to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards
• Develop and validate technical data for airplane component maintenance and fault isolation
• Drive product designs and process improvements to ensure safety, supportability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with customers to address technical inquiries and develop maintenance solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences)
• 4+ years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience for Senior level roles
• 5+ years of experience with component structural design principles (fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, etc.)
• Experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations and environments
• Experience with engineering tools such as REDARS, CATIA, ENOVIA, PSDS, or PDM
• Knowledge of Avionics, Hydraulics, Mechanical Systems, Landing Gear, or Propulsion systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
