Component Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure component readiness and quality throughout the project lifecycle
• Perform parts quality checks and validation activities to ensure compliance with specifications
• Manage component-related activities after the development phase
• Support supplier communication and follow up on technical and quality issues
• Participate in problem-solving activities and implementation of corrective actions

Requirements

• Secondary School or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in mechanical engineering or component engineering (junior profiles considered)
• Basic knowledge of plastic components or injection technology is an advantage
• Understanding of component validation and quality checks
• English at an intermediate level (B2)
• Driving license B
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with suppliers or cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of German or French languages
