Component and Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and repair services for specific aircraft components and engine parts from an engineering perspective
• Prepare and approve maintenance documents, define repairs and tests, and evaluate modifications technically and economically
• Coordinate technical issues between production, support areas, customers, and global management
• Identify optimization potentials in maintenance processes and develop/implement technical solution concepts
• Track and investigate technical faults, complaints, and limit exceedances to initiate remedial measures
• Manage engineering projects and perform specialized technical tasks

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in MS-Office and SAP
• Fluency in both written and spoken Portuguese and English
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to manage complexity
• Willingness to travel for business or undertake longer assignments at other Lufthansa Technik sites
• Knowledge of aeronautical legislation and engine/component maintenance is highly desirable
