Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of a structured compliance and regulatory documentation library
• Ensure REACH and RoHS declarations are current and supported by supplier data
• Manage controlled access to compliance and environmental statements for Sales and authorized users
• Support Supply Chain in collecting and maintaining supplier material composition data
• Review supplier compliance information for adequacy and traceability
• Identify and escalate compliance risks arising from supplier or material changes
• Advise on product compliance impact during product changes and new product introductions
• Prepare evidence packs for external audits, inspections, and customer assessments
• Act as a subject matter expert for REACH, RoHS, and regulatory documentation during audits
• Own the Quality and Compliance Requests framework, defining controls and monitoring performance

Requirements

• Experience in a Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality role within a regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience in process review, improvement, or implementation within Quality or Compliance
• Working knowledge of international regulatory and environmental compliance (REACH and RoHS)
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 Quality Management System

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with compliance metrics, reporting, or performance dashboards
• Understanding of risk-based decision making and regulatory impact assessments
• Degree in material science or a relevant science-based qualification
• Working knowledge of the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)
