About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage sales and use tax compliance for multi-state construction and service operations
- Coordinate completion and renewal of customer, vendor, and third-party pre-qualification packages
- Maintain subcontractor compliance documentation including COIs, W-9s, and safety records
- Update and maintain subcontractor information in platforms such as Avetta and ISN
- Provide administrative support for contractor licensing, business registrations, and renewals
- Support lien waiver preparation, review, tracking, and documentation
- Develop and maintain compliance calendars, trackers, and checklists
Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or construction management preferred
- Three or more years of experience in accounting, compliance, tax, or construction administration
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of sales and use tax, lien waivers, or contractor licensing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and construction accounting systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
