About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Compliance Manager on project compliance activities, including startup processes and the creation of mitigation action plans.
- Assist with training Project Compliance Coordinators and other staff on compliance protocols.
- Support assigned districts by learning and applying regulatory topics such as antitrust laws, prevailing wage/Davis Bacon, OSHA, and ATF regulations.
- Utilize InEight, PowerBI, and Microsoft tools to analyze compliance data and manage daily tasks.
- Assist in performing compliance assessments and ethics reviews of potential JV partners.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, best practices, and lessons learned to improve the operations compliance program.
- Ensure the remediation of assessment findings and support the implementation of risk programs on identified projects.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Internship or one year of construction/engineering field experience (or related experience with regulatory compliance exposure).
- Ability to travel up to 50% to various offices, project locations, and headquarters.
- Strong analytical thinking and critical thinking skills to offer practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
