About the role
About the Company
Sphinx is automating compliance for banks and fintechs with AI agents that work on existing systems like human analysts. We build AI analysts that work inside browsers and internal systems to automate AML, KYC, KYB, and transaction monitoring end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Define how AI agents think by turning complex regulations into structured, machine-readable logic
- Partner with customers to understand compliance processes and design products that remove bottlenecks
- Map workflows, refine alerts, and improve output quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure product decisions are explainable, auditable, and compliant by design
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in AML, risk, or compliance roles at a bank, fintech, or regtech
- Ability to translate regulatory logic into product requirements for engineering teams
- Experience deconstructing manual review processes and designing scalable automation
- Strong analytical skills to use metrics to identify patterns and reduce false positives
